A classic example of the black
and white Awatovi designs which Helen Naha was so well known
for.
Helen was long known throughout
the pottery world as "Featherwoman" and has passed
her talent down to her children - Sylvia, Burel, and Rainy. This
family continues to carry on the unique whiteware tradition in
their own individual ways - and each has garnered themselves
a place in the award winning record books.
These pieces are harder and
harder to come by, and we are delighted to be able to present
a real classic piece of collectible Hopi pottery by one of the
great ones!
